How to choose the right size

1. Measure your pet lying stretched out, from the nose to the base of the tail.

2. Compare it with the size of the bed, given in centimetres on this page. Where a sleeping area is given, compare with that: it is the space inside the rim.

3. Check the weight where a size lists the weight it suits.

Between two sizes? Take the larger one if your pet likes to stretch out, the smaller one if it sleeps curled up.

A window cat bed in summer, a radiator bed in winter

This windowsill cat bed sits on an adjustable bracket that grips a sill or the top of a radiator between 4 and 12 cm deep. So it's a sill bed in summer and a radiator bed in winter. The frame has a wooden edge and measures 50 x 36 cm, and the cream chenille cushion is 44 x 35 cm and 7 cm deep, filled with PP cotton. Take the cushion out and the fabric stretched across the frame becomes a hammock instead. It goes together in about ten minutes without tools, and the whole cushion goes in the washing machine.

Check your sill first

It won't fit a sill whose edge overhangs by more than 7 cm, a radiator with no slot, or a slot shallower than 1.5 cm. Measure before you order.
