1. Measure your pet lying stretched out, from the nose to the base of the tail.

2. Compare it with the size of the bed, given in centimetres on this page. Where a sleeping area is given, compare with that: it is the space inside the rim.

3. Check the weight where a size lists the weight it suits.

Between two sizes? Take the larger one if your pet likes to stretch out, the smaller one if it sleeps curled up.

A shaggy plush dog bed with a bolster on three sides

This fluffy dog bed is a rectangle covered in long, shaggy plush, with a padded bolster wrapped round the back and both sides for a head to rest on. Under the plush sits a foam base layer, and inside the cover a waterproof liner protects the foam. The cover opens on a two-sided zip and goes in the washing machine, and the base has a non-slip finish. There are seven colours: brown, charcoal, grey, pink, frosted pink, frosted coffee and frosted grey.

Three sizes to choose from

The smallest bed, 45 x 40 cm, suits pets up to about 4.5 kg, and the largest, 80 x 55 cm, up to about 13.5 kg. If your dog falls between two sizes, go for the bigger one.
