How to choose the right size

1. Measure your pet lying stretched out, from the nose to the base of the tail.

2. Compare it with the size of the bed, given in centimetres on this page. Where a sleeping area is given, compare with that: it is the space inside the rim.

3. Check the weight where a size lists the weight it suits.

Between two sizes? Take the larger one if your pet likes to stretch out, the smaller one if it sleeps curled up.

Dog bed XL with a bolster on three sides

This dog bed XL has a bolster on three sides and comes in five sizes. For a dog that sprawls, the sleeping area inside the bolster matters as much as the outside size: the M gives 60 x 48 cm and the 3XL gives 98 x 67 cm. It's made from Oxford cloth over shredded and flat sponge, with a dotted non-slip cloth base and a zinc alloy zip. The foam is 6.5 cm thick on the three smaller sizes, 7 cm on the 2XL and 7.5 cm on the 3XL.

Unpacking it

It comes vacuum-packed. Knead the foam by hand, then leave it 48 hours to recover. A hair dryer held at a distance speeds things up.
