1. Measure your pet lying stretched out, from the nose to the base of the tail.

2. Compare it with the size of the bed, given in centimetres on this page. Where a sleeping area is given, compare with that: it is the space inside the rim.

3. Check the weight where a size lists the weight it suits.

Between two sizes? Take the larger one if your pet likes to stretch out, the smaller one if it sleeps curled up.

Description

Outdoor cat bed and shelter on a raised frame

This outdoor cat bed is a small fabric house on a steel frame, lifted clear of wet ground. There are two doorways, one at the front and one at the side, each with a flap your cat pushes through. The walls are layered: thickened Oxford cloth outside, a waterproof PVC layer, and an insulating foil lining inside to hold in your cat's own warmth. It goes together without tools, and comes apart again for the shed in spring. It suits porches, patios, gardens and barns.

Delivery: this shelter ships as an oversized parcel, so it can take 4 to 5 weeks to reach you, longer than our usual 6 to 10 days. If you need it by a set date, email us before you order and we'll check for you.

Where to put it

Wind can drive rain in through the doors, so we'd place it under the eaves, in a porch or against a sheltered wall rather than out in the open.
