How to choose the right size

1. Measure your pet lying stretched out, from the nose to the base of the tail.

2. Compare it with the size of the bed, given in centimetres on this page. Where a sleeping area is given, compare with that: it is the space inside the rim.

3. Check the weight where a size lists the weight it suits.

Between two sizes? Take the larger one if your pet likes to stretch out, the smaller one if it sleeps curled up.

This dog bed with hood is a round, padded cuddler with 15 cm walls and a soft faux fur interior. Sewn into the back is a blanket in the same fabric as the outside, and it falls forward over the bed like a hood, so a small dog or a cat can tuck itself in. The outside is a textured microfibre, and the walls are filled with springy polyester fibre. It comes in beige, grey, aqua or a deep petrol blue, and it's a cosy spot for pets that like to burrow.

Choosing the size

The 50 x 50 cm suits pets up to 3 kg, and the 60 x 60 cm up to 5 kg. Go one size up from what the weight suggests, so there's room to turn round under the hood.
