Cardboard Cat Scratcher Bed: Oval or Round Bowl

Cardboard cat scratcher bed shaped like a bowl

This cardboard cat scratcher bed is a shallow bowl rather than a flat pad, with sides that curve up around your cat. It's built from corrugated card set on edge, so the fluted surface faces upwards across the base and the sides. That makes it a scratching surface and a place to lie down in one: your cat can knead the base, then curl up in it. The card wears down where your cat works at it, which is what keeps claws off your other furniture. The card is durable, and a paper band printed with cat faces runs round the rim.

Oval or round

Pick an oval or a round bowl. Both are made the same way from corrugated card, so choose by the space it has to fit into.

• Shapes: oval or round
