How to choose the right size

1. Measure your pet lying stretched out, from the nose to the base of the tail.

2. Compare it with the size of the bed, given in centimetres on this page. Where a sleeping area is given, compare with that: it is the space inside the rim.

3. Check the weight where a size lists the weight it suits.

Between two sizes? Take the larger one if your pet likes to stretch out, the smaller one if it sleeps curled up.

Calming dog bed, a frosted plush donut

A calming dog bed is a deep round nest with a high padded rim, and the shape is the whole idea: your dog or cat curls up inside and rests its head on the edge. This one is soft plush, with a non-slip base, and the whole bed goes in the washing machine. There are ten colours. Seven are frosted, where the tips of the plush are paler than the roots; the other three are two swirl patterns and a brown tie-dye. Sizes run from 40 cm for pets under 2 kg to 90 cm for dogs up to 30 kg.

It arrives flat

The bed comes vacuum-packed and looks misshapen out of the bag. Rub the rim and shake it out by hand, and it recovers its loft.
